Qi HaoDi (China), an independent musician and graduate of China Conservatory. Qi Haodi creates, composes, and adapts folk music and writes music for formal occasions and film and television. He also works in pop music. His major works include: The Orbit of Points, Quartet for Plucked Instruments, The Dazzling Capriccio, Erhu Concerto, Double Concerto for Erhu and Cello, The Dad Who Loves Wuqin, a tone poem of the Daur people, A Prayer for the Chinese Dream, An ‘Auspicious’ Chinese Music Concerto, and a Buddhist Chant Concerto.
