Allusions on 1906
The piano piece Allusions on 1906 (2006) was written for the concert „maraton“ in honour of the centenary of birth of Dmitry Shostakovich, organised within the frames of the Sound Ways Festival in St Petersburg. The „Allussions“ are formed with literally every sound of the piece in which the recognisable intonative „spectrum“ is subtly represented. The atmosphere of mystery and farewell which exists in the composition becomes even more apparent when considered that the piece stands at the very end of the creative opus and life of Goce Kolarovski.
