I wrote Tango to go in 2013, for Dubrovnik Piano Trio. In this reworking for brass quintet, I wanted to intertwine and relate the specificities of mutual sonorities and open some new possibilities of inter-active relations between individual soundscapes, instruments, the musicians themselves, and some of my own interests as a composer. I hope that Tango to go will remain an inspiring stimulus for musicians as well as an interesting piece for the audience, who will be able, listening to it, to recognise and feel some personal emotional experiences in our shared ad-venture and quest of beauty.
