Ana Gnjatović (Belgrade, 1984) – graduated in 2008 from the Department of Composition and Orchestration of the Faculty of Music in Belgrade. She studied with Prof. Milan Mihajlović. She studies the doctoral program at the Department of Composition at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade in the class of Prof. Srđan Hofman.

Ana Gnjatović attended courses in composition, improvisation  and  vocal  workshops  with  George Aperghis, Trevor Wishart, David Moss, Georg Friedrich Haas, Louis Andriessen, Richard Eyers, Barbara Hannigan, Julia Wolfe, Luca Francesconi, Ivan Fedele… She was awarded prize of the Josip Slavenski Fund of the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, special award and commission by the Sentieri selvaggi ensemble (Milan, Italy) for 2008/2009 season and Summer academy Prague-Vienna-Budapest award in 2005. Her pieces were performed in Serbia, Montenegro, Germany, Austria, Hungary, the Netherlands, Macedonia, Italy, Danmark, the USA and were selected for festivals such as: KoMA, International Review of Composers, Mokranjčevi dani, Čembalo – živa umetnosti, Espressivo (ME).

She is active as a concert organizer, teacher and sometimes she sings in public.

The collection of pieces entitled Fashion victim consists of few intimate recollections of small defeats. Fashion victim V, for voice/recorder, violin, double bass was written in 2011.
