About the piece
Inconsistent Dialogue treats trombone and violin equal by challenging each instrument through exploring extreme ranges, extended techniques, and non-pitched procedures within a realm of both instruments. As consequence of that, intriguing colors of sound become apparent due to uniqueness and specificity of each of these instruments that create a collage of unpredictable fragmental combinations where the sense of unexpected and unanticipated events occur. The execution of various instrumental techniques, that in most cases go along with specific articulation procedures, become essential aspect of successful performance of this piece.
