Anna Korsun (1986, Ukraine) is a composer and performer. She took part in various festivals such as Warsaw Autumn (Poland), Summer courses of new music in Darmstadt, Musikfest der MGNM in Munich, Sound Walk/Sound Garden 2012 in Lisbon, Gogolfest in Kiev, Gaudeamus Music Week 2011 in Utrecht. She participated in workshops with ensemble Recherche (2008), P. Dusapin (2010-2011), H. Lachenmann (2011). Anna is artist-in-resident of Schloss Solitude Academy for 2014-2015 and Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris for 2014. Her work Surfaces won in the composition competition Neue Tone Anthology for percussion music 2013. Anna got scholarships Antiqua Nova Choele Choel 2013 (Argentina), Baltic Youth Philharmonic (2011, Kaunas). In 2012 she won Leonhard und Ida Wolf-Gedaechtnispreise, Munich. In 2011 she was granted with a commission for a new chamber piece from Kulturkreis Gasteig (Munich, Germany). She is the co-organizer and a participant of cycles of concerts 6+1 and Evening of Low Music.
