OFF (Oblivions, Farewell) for flute, oboe, accordion and double bass

OFF (Oblivions, Farewell) for flute, oboe, accordion and double bass, is a free cycle, commissioned by and dedicated to the pre-art ensemble. All of the pieces, in a different way, aim towards a delicate playfulness with the human auditive memory. The repetition and the dance-like rhythm should create the feeling of recognition, a comfort with the familiar, enjoyment and pleasure with the passion which emerges from the well-known tango flavor. In such an atmosphere, the auditive memory creates it’s own version of what’s being heard, and this version continues its existence, regardless if the real music has stopped or is non-existent, represented only by rhythms and noises.
