The Glass Box – Intimate Rituals

’The Glass Box’ is a mobile gallery of sound
a transparent box made of glass
’sound images’ reside inside of it
you are entering the box
closing the door
putting the headphones on
you are isolated from outside sounds
you only hear what is inside the box
you are bringing toghether the sound
which is now within you
and the image
which is surrounding you
you are taking off the headphones
and stepping outside

you have been listening

The Intimate Rituals
Three sound miniatures

  1. washing
  2. cutting
  3. breathing

the intimate sounds
composed in a whole
which connects

the inner rhythm
of mine
and
the inner rhythm
of the listener

  1. when I am washing – you washing
  2. when I am cutting – you are cutting
  3. when I am breathing – you are breathing
