300 km – for two was inspired by Eight Hundred Streets by Feet, a piece by the Swedish jazz pianist Esbjorn Svensson. The piece is composed in the form of a French overture, following the principle of free variations. 300 kilometres is the road distance between Belgrade and Kosovska Mitrovica, along the Ibarska magistrala (Ibar Highway). The piece was commissioned by the violoncellist Đorđe Milošević.
