Elmir Nizamov

Elmir Nizamov (1986, Russia). In 2006 Elmir graduated from the piano section of Ulyanovsk academy of music, composers’ faculty of Kazan State Conservatory n.a. N. Zhiganov 2011 and his postgraduate studies in 2014. In 2012 he successfully passed his internship at Shoenberg Centre (Vienna) and an internship at the International academy for young composers (Tchaikovsky city) in 2015. Individually trained by Peter Ablinger, Raphael Cendo and Beat Furrer.
In 2013 “Celestial motion” composed by Elmir Nizamov for symphony orchestra represented Russian Federation at the “International Rostrum of Contemporary Music” contest organized by UNESCO International Music Council as well as the European Broadcasting Union. Elmir Nizamov is a known author of a variety of chamber, instrumental, symphonic and choral works, songs as well as the musical pieces for theatrical performance and motion picture.

The Sun The Moon and the Truth. “There are three things you can never hide – The Sun, The Moon and the Truth”. These words of Buddha himself became the starting point for creation of the composition. Three images that conceal both the contemplation and insightful philosophy of the East seemed incredibly harmonical to me.
