About the work

Home is about my homeland which has gone through a lot of sorrowful incidents. “Oἶκοζ” means “home” in Ancient Greek. This word also became the basis for the concept of ecology. In my piece I raise an important environmental nuclear issue. My home is still struggling with the negative consequences of the tragedy at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. What I see is a forest landscape which would be breezy and pure if it weren’t poisoned by some unstoppable and invisible energy.
